This cable will allow our Ford Taurus DRL lights to turn on and off the same as the stock accent lights did.  So when the engine is off and you unlock or open the doors, either with the key fob or door handles, the amber DRL LEDs will flash on briefly, then the white DRL LEDs will turn on at full brightness and remain on until the doors are closed, locked or the vehicle’s auto off function is activated.

The fully automatic DRL function of our DRL kits is not affected by the new adapter and remains fully operational. (Engine on / DRLs on, engine off / DRLs off).
